The tour starts with a transfer to a resort in Nam Phrae district where you check in to a nature resort with bungalows built on stilts and a saltwater pool. In the afternoon you will visit a local market to buy ingredients for the Thai dishes you will learn how to cook back at the resort. You will prepare your own dinner tonight.

The tour starts with a pick up from your hotel or the airport/train station and a drive to Nam Phrae district where you can check-in at your small paradise, a nature resort with bungalows built on stilts about 2 meters above the ground in traditional Thai style. Relax on the huge private balcony with a view of the saltwater swimming pool and the lush garden. The bungalows are built from recycled teak wood, and each has a very big private balcony with comfortable benches. Underneath the bungalow, you can relax in a hammock. The bungalows have all the amenities you expect (air conditioning, fridge, TV, a safety box), and the same goes for the bathrooms (rain shower, hot water, hairdryer, shampoo, etc.). This is one of the few places in Thailand where you can still stay in this style of houses.
In the afternoon it is time for the cooking class. First, you go to a local market to buy vegetables, herbs and other ingredients and the guide will explain what produce is available locally. Back at the resort, you learn how to cook Thai food. You will prepare all the food yourself and you can enjoy your own cooking during dinner. After dinner a relaxing walk in the area or a drink and a chat with other travellers and residents. It’s up to you.
