A fun combination of cycling, relaxing at the pool of a nice resort and learning how to cook Thai food.
The tour starts with a pick up from your hotel in the city center and transfer by car to a small traditional village about 20 minutes outside of Chiang Mai. Here the cycling commences and you will visit traditional villages with wooden houses on stilts, stop at a village school, ride through the rice fields along lazy back roads and the forest areas connecting the small villages. The tour explores the lifestyle of local farmers and explains the process of seasonal rice farming. This part of the tour ends at a local resort for a Thai lunch and some rest or time to swim, don’t forget your swimming clothes.
After lunch, it is time to bring you to the cooking class. First, you go to a local market to buy vegetables, herbs and other ingredients and the guide explains what produce is available locally. Then you will learn how to cook Thai food. You will prepare all the food yourself and you can enjoy your own cooking during dinner. After that, your tour ends and we bring you to your hotel in Chiang Mai.
